Although born and raised a Catholic, I was not very devout and did not really practice the Catholic faith throughout my adolescent and early adult years. However, through the grace of God and the holy example of my wife I was led into the practice of the faith in 1996. The lives of the mystics of the Church had a great influence on me during my early "reversion" to the faith of the Church, and I am still greatly inspired by their heroic example and great love for God today. My favorite mystic and by far the one who touched and inspired me the most was the great lover of Jesus--St Gemma Galgani (1878-1903), the subject of my first and most extensive website, which was over two years in the making, and to which I still occasionally add articles.
However this "Miracles of the Church" website was initially born of my "Mystics of the Church" and "Miracles of the Saints" websites, because while I was researching material for these two websites, I came across interesting facts and items that did not fit into either of these two earlier websites, so this is how this current website came to be.
I pray that all who visit here may be inspired with a greater love for God, and may be brought ever closer into the Heart of Jesus, which is the Heart of the Church.
I enjoy corresponding with others so please feel free to email me your comments and/or suggestions to: email@example.com
